Coaches ‘satisfied’ with pre season prep

As the pre season campaign comes to an end, Team Manager Ed Griffith reflected on a satisfying period as we look forward to the big Principality Premiership opener against newcomers RGC 1404.

After seeing off Beddau 40-8 at the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field before falling to a 43-15 defeat against English National One side Ampthill in Bedfordshire, the final pre season match in the shape of a clash against Treorchy saw the Ravens victorious by 42 points to 14.

Griffith, a newcomer to Bridgend ranks, commented post match, “Matt and the coaches are satisified with how pre season has gone and both players and management can’t wait for the season to begin.”

“After a fairly decent run out against buy ambien in mexico Beddau, Ampthill was more of a test which perhaps showed where we are as a team, while Treorchy was a very stern test for a very young side. With the likes of try scorers Garin Lougher and Connor Tantum showing up, as well as seeing Dan Watkins, Scott Griffith, Jack Pope and Tahgh McGuckin get game time, it can only be very positive for the club’s future.”

“There were plenty of positives and aspects of our game to work on during the week as we prepare to welcome RGC to the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field for the league opener. It’ll be a tough opener, but we’re all very much looking forward to it.”
