Team to face Cross Keys (H)

Bridgend Ravens welcome Cross Keys to the Morganstone Brewery Field on Saturday afternoon in the second of three consecutive home ties (2:30pm).

The sides sit just one place, and one point apart in the league standings although Bridgend do have the advantage of a game in hand over their rivals.

Bridgend had been through a tough run of five consecutive defeats but a fine victory over fourth placed Aberavon last time out has rejuvenated hopes and thrown the relegation battle wide open once again. Keys failed to follow up their home win over Llandovery as they were defeated by RGC, despite a brave performance in North Wales by 33pts to 13.
The clash against Keys sees the reverse of the opening day fixture which was won by the Gwent side 32pts to 25 at Pandy Park. In a fast and open encounter, both sides crossed for try bonus points with Bridgend's tries coming from Nathan Edwards, Chris John and a brace from flier Aaron Grabham. Bridgend won at Pandy Park in the single clash between the two sides last season by 7pts to 13. Chris John scored Bridgend's only try that day with Jamie Murphy contributed eight points from the boot.
There are a few changes to last week's squad with injuries and regional call ups hampering selection. Matt Silva utilises the depth of his squad with twelve of the starting fifteen products of Bridgend Ravens' local partner sides. Ryan Evans comes back into the team at full back with Aaron Grabham and Ashley Evans his compatriots in the back three. Morgan Jones and Nathan Edwards pair up in the centre. Jamie Murphy and Chris Williams keep their place at half back.
An unchanged back row of Jordan Collier, Tom Morgan and Adam O'Driscoll is again selected with Chris John and Ben Jones the second row. Owen Jordan, Gareth Harvey and Cai Lewis are Silva's front row pick.
There's a new face amongst Bridgend's replacements, Ospreys youngster and Wales U20's star Reuben Morgan Williams will be hoping to make his debut for the club if called upon.
