Bridgend - An Icon Returns

Bridgend Ravens can confirm that a new club crest has been launched ahead of the start of the new 17/18 campaign.

With the current badge having had many guises over the past few seasons, most notably with a 'Ravens' text only logo being used on jerseys, the club has decided to re-introduce the logo synonymous with Bridgend RFC and will feature on all the club's future marketing material, kit and leisurewear.

The iconic 'Raven on the Bridge' logo will feature typography linked to last season's 'corporate' logo, with the club keen to move with the times, without forgetting past glories.

Over the past few seasons, there's been a lot of change within Welsh rugby, but we are keen to emphasise that this isn't change for changes sake. We feel that by reintroducing this iconic logo it will help us meet the needs of the digital age, while also being instantly recognisable with supporters both locally and internationally who have an affinity to the crest.

Bridgend have a very proud history, and a bright future, and part of the strategy is to help give the club a far simpler, memorable image while ensuring there is a link to the past.
