Ravens raring to go for Trebanos opener

The 2017/18 season gets underway for Bridgend Ravens on Saturday with a trip to Trebanos (2:30pm).

It’s been a busy summer for Bridgend with Nathan Edwards, Aaron Grabham, Gareth Harvey, Tyler Williams, Kieran Martin, Ed Doe, Jacob Lloyd, Chris John, Dafi Davies and Shaun O’Rourke joining the squad and Mike Morgan being added to the coaching staff.

The squad have been put through a rigorous pre-season training campaign which climaxed with a contested training session against Ystrad Rhondda at the Brewery Field on Tuesday evening. The coaches have named a 32 man squad and everyone travelling will get the opportunity of game time. There are a number of new faces outside of the registered squad who will get their chance to stake a claim for a place in the squad.
