Silva 'We have to keep our heads up'

It was another close fought defeat for Bridgend Ravens on Saturday and ScrumV’s Phil Steele caught up with Bridgend Ravens Head Coach Matt Silva pitch side.

‘Of course it’s disappointing. We worked hard and I think we would have justified winning the game with that line out at the end. We didn’t do enough when we had the advantage of the breeze in the first half.

We had our huddle at the end and I just said to the boys that we have to keep our chins up. We’re heading into what are now must win games. We have three games in hand and it’s important to keep our heads up or we won’t get anywhere.

What was important was picking up another bonus point which could see us over the finish line. We know how important every point is. We play RGC next week who are a big team that like to throw the ball around, so it could be an open game.’

Bridgend Ravens’ next game is a home clash with RGC on Saturday afternoon, kick off 2:30pm.
