Bridgend Ravens can confirm that backs coach Grant Hall has decided to step down from his role with the club.
Hall joined the back room staff at the Brewery Field in 2015, taking his first step into senior coaching with his home town club. Under Hall's tenure, the Ravens finished 13th, 10th and 11th, maintaining their place in the top flight of semi professional rugby for next season. Grant leaves his role to concentrate on his personal life with commitments at home and at work.
'Due to my working life and family commitments, I can no longer commit my full attention to my role at Bridgend any longer.
I would like to thank all the coaches and staff, past and present, that I have worked with over the past four seasons. I have thoroughly enjoyed my times through the highs and the lows.
As a young coach, I know I can leave knowing that I have done my best and left Bridgend, a club that means so much to me, in a really strong place to help them compete in a very competitive league.
I would also like to thank the group of players who are a really special bunch of men and have really supported and helped me to develop as a coach and as a person. They have so much more to bring and I can assure you that they won't let the jersey down.
I'd also like to give a big thank you to the supporters. Your support during the roller coaster of emotions that we've all experienced has been fantastic. I look forward to enjoying a drink with you all at Friday's end of season dinner'
All at Bridgend Ravens would like to thank Grant for his efforts at Bridgend Ravens and wish him all the best for the future.
