Owen’s first spell at Bridgend saw him depart the club in 2015. Since then, he’s played for Cross Keys, Merthyr and Swansea, with a brief stint back at where it all started with Dean Ronan’s Maesteg Harlequins last year. With his 25th birthday in a few months time, Owen’s best rugby years are certainly ahead of him at the Morganstone Brewery Field.

Cardiff born Chilcott’s career started at Rhiwbina, before he made the move to Cardiff Met and then St Joseph’s. He made the step up to Premiership rugby with Bedwas in 2018/19 playing 22 times, and has also had plenty of experience having developed through the Cardiff Blues Academy; representing them at u16 and 18 level.
Ben White – Usually an outside half, White joins Bridgend from Bedwas. Prior to his spell with the Was, he turned out for Cardiff University and his home town club, Dinas Powys. Ben made 49 appearances for Dinas, scoring 294 points before tying up with Bedwas last season. He provides another exciting option for Richard Fussell and Tom Grabham’s back division for the coming campaign.
Andrew Evans – 25 year old back three flier Evans joins up with Bridgend having previously turned out for Cardiff University, Bedwas, Ebbw Vale, Wales Students and Wales 7s and arrives at the Brewery amidst plenty of competition for his signature. He moved on to Ebbw Vale and has most recently been seen plying his trade for Newport, who he made 12 appearances for last season.
Lewis Evans – Lewis has experience of playing rugby in Bridgend having trialled with the Ravens in 2016. He played for Bridgend Athletic that season before moving onto Bedwas. Hailing from Resolven, Evans is equally adept playing anywhere in the back division but typically operates at outside half. He spent the majority of last season sidelined with a shoulder issue but heads for 2019/20 back to full fitness and raring to go.
