23 Aug Introducing.. The Timbuild Brewery Field!
Bridgend Ravens are delighted to announce that Timbuild Ltd have reached an agreement with Brewery Field Ltd over the naming rights for the Brewery Field Stadium on a two-year deal.
Based on the Brackla Industrial Estate, Bridgend, Timbuild is a local, independent builders merchant owned and run by brothers, Paul and Marc Dominy. Between them, they have nearly forty years of experience in the building and construction industries. They set up Timbuild after spotting a gap in the market – confident that Bridgend needed a modern alternative to the traditional merchant. With an extensive product range and an expert team on hand to offer advice on all aspects of building work, Timbuild has continued to go from strength to strength since their launch in 2017. They offer standard timber products, bespoke joinery, garden buildings, gravel and aggregates, landscaping supplies, ironmongery, hardware and much, much more.
More recently, significant expansion of their business has seen the introduction of their brand-new Bridgend Garden Centre and a seasonal store which will be themed during key dates and seasons such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter.
Timbuild have agreed to become the naming rights partner for the Brewery Field, with the stadium now officially known as the Timbuild Brewery Field until at least summer 2023. Timbuild replaces Morganstone as the stadium sponsor, and all at Bridgend Ravens would like to take this opportunity to thank Ian Morgan and the team at Morganstone for their fantastic support over the previous four years.
Craig Thomas, Bridgend Ravens Commercial Manager, was very pleased to see another significant local business join the Ravens growing commercial family, and said, “With the previous naming rights agreement recently expired, it was very important that the club secured a new partner ahead of the forthcoming season. However, it was also important that we found the right partner, and I believe that we have done just that with Timbuild. Owners and brothers Paul and Marc run the business with family values and a strong customer focus… qualities and traditions we value highly here at the rugby club. Timbuild is a progressive, forward-thinking business constantly diversifying into new areas and expanding product lines and services. This fits perfectly with the ambitious development plans that we have in process for the stadium in the short and medium term. I’m really looking forward to working with Paul, Marc and the Timbuild team, and it will be great to see them here at the stadium on match days cheering on the Ravens.”
Paul Dominy of Timbuild commented, “On behalf of myself and Marc, we would like to thank Craig and the Brewery Field team for approaching us with this fantastic opportunity. As a family run business, we understand the necessity for sponsorship within our community. We have always looked to take part in local sponsorship opportunities, however small an offering it may have been. We are both looking at this sponsorship as a milestone for the business as we expand our offerings with on-site joinery, seasonal store and garden centre. I can speak for all the team here at Timbuild, when I say how excited we are just to see our brand name on the historical Brewery Field, let alone it now being called the Timbuild Brewery Field!”
