03 Jan EDC APPLICATION SUBMITTED

Bridgend Ravens can confirm that the club has submitted a formal application for a place in the Elite Domestic Competition. 

Following the initial expression of interest submitted by the club in October, a more complex and detailed application has been submitted to the Welsh Rugby Union prior to the deadline of the 29th December.

The independent panel is now conducting a review process of all applications from 2nd January and are due to present their recommendations to the board of the Welsh Rugby Union on the 9th January.

Applicant clubs are set to be informed on the 15th January whether their application has been successful.

The application involved a lot of work for both our Rugby Management Team and our Board of Management and we are very grateful for their efforts in completing the application. 

We believe we’ve submitted a very competitive and thorough application and look forward to hearing the results of the review process later this month.”
