Bridgend Ravens kick off their final run of fixtures for season 23/24 this Saturday at Newport Stadium against top of the table Newport (2:30pm).

The Black and Ambers booked themselves a home semi final with victory over fellow high flyers Llandovery last week and followed that up by beating Neath last weekend at the Gnoll. Ty Morris’ side have had another superb season and they’ll be looking to finish the regular season well and build for the play off matches ahead.

Bridgend picked up two victories against Neath and RGC recently but a defeat at Pontypool last time out put a halt on their winning form. They’ve never won at Newport Stadium and were handsomely beaten in the reverse fixture earlier this season by 57pts to 27. Matt O’Brien inspired his side to a comprehensive second half comeback after Bridgend led at the break.

For Saturday’s match, Tom Smith makes a number of changes to the side that featured at Pontypool Park.
