31 Oct Ravens players to ‘grow a mo’ for #TeamEvsy
Bridgend Ravens are adopting a slightly different approach to ‘Movember’ this year and are going to grow Mo’s to fundraise for Velindre by supporting Mike Evans and his ‘#TeamEvsy’ campaign.
Bridgend were fortunate enough to welcome Mike, who is friends with current members of the Bridgend squad, to a recent home game and were inspired by his attitude and commitment to competing in extremely gruelling events and despite fighting a terminal brain tumour, Mike completed the Porthcawl triathlon earlier this year.
Whilst the ‘Movember’ charity does exceptional charity work fighting testicular cancer, the members of the Bridgend squad decided to grow (or attempt to in some cases) moustaches throughout the month of November with the aim of raising as much buy viagra online without prescriptions money as possible to donate to the ‘#TeamEvsy’ campaign.
Having had surgery to remove 75% of his tumour, Mike set about achieving a number of goals, namely raising as much money as he can for Velindre where he is undergoing chemotherapy, while he is also determined to reduce the amount of time patients have to wait for an MRI scan.
He has had fantastic support for his #TeamEvzy challenges, while a number of Welsh international players have been seen sporting the green bands which have become synonymous with supporters of #TeamEvzy
Any donation, however big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in the fight against cancer!
