With the Principality Premiership season well underway, Bridgend Ravens are delighted to announce the addition of Ashley Evans to the club’s squad.
No stranger to Bridgend supporters, Ashley pulled on the blue and white jersey 31 times between 2012-2014, scoring seven tries. During his time at the club, ‘Ram’ was selected for Wales U20 – featuring in both the Six Nations and Junior World Cup, along with earning regional honours with the Ospreys senior side in the LV= Cup. His club career saw him move on to Neath, before a stint at another Principality Premiership club in Llanelli. He rejoined Neath in the summer, but has now made the switch to Silva’s Ravens. During his career away from the club, he was a regular in Wales’ 7s squads, furthering his rugby education in the shorter form of the game. After putting pen to paper, Ashley said ‘It feels great returning to my first Premiership club. I’ve got a lot of great memories playing for Bridgend and I’m really looking forward to putting the jersey back on in such an important season.
