Bridgend Ravens EWC Partnership

EWC join Bridgend Ravens’ growing commercial family

Bridgend Ravens are pleased to announce that Environmental Waste Controls are the latest business to join their growing commercial family ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Environmental Waste Controls is a multiple award-winning waste and recycling management company based in Merseyside. However, they operate contracts right across the U.K. and are looking to increase their customer base in South Wales. They provide a sophisticated and cost effective waste recycling management system, making the best of compaction and reduction for all clients in the private and public sectors. They offer bespoke solutions to their clients with not only their business in mind, but also and especially the environment.

As part of their commercial partnership, EWC’s logo will appear on all the Macron Leisurewear of the Bridgend Ravens Squad and Management for the current campaign, including; Training Tops, Polo Shirts, T-Shirts, Tracksuit Bottoms and Shorts. They will also have branding at the Brewery Field and in the matchday programme.

Bridgend Ravens EWC Partnership

After signing up as a commercial partner, Stirling Scott, National Account Manager of Environmental Waste Controls said “With EWC’s track record of commercial partnerships and a desire to re-introduce itself to businesses in Wales, the collaboration with Bridgend Ravens is an ideal partnership. Having previously sponsored the Welsh National Rugby League team and currently being official waste partners and sponsors of Hibernian FC in Scotland, the opportunity to partner another rugby team was a no brainer. Hopefully, this is the start of a rewarding partnership, with success round the corner for both on and off the field.’

Bridgend Ravens Commercial Manager, Craig Thomas commented, “I didn’t exactly anticipate commercial partnerships with businesses quite this far afield when I re-joined the club, but I am delighted that the brand name and rich heritage of Bridgend Rugby extends the length and breadth of the U.K. and beyond, to afford us these opportunities. I know that EWC see Wales as a target area for growth, and I am confident this relationship with Bridgend Ravens will help them along that journey… not only promoting their brand in Bridgend, but right across Wales as the team travel to away fixtures and other commitments sporting our stylish new leisure wear. May I take this opportunity to say a personal thank you to Stirling, who has been the driving force at EWC while we’ve been putting this deal together.”
