Brewery Field

NEW ERA TO BEGIN FOR BREWERY FIELD

Bridgend Ravens are delighted to announce that the Brewery Field clubhouse is now under new management, and there is currently extensive refurbishment work in process which is due to be completed in time to open ahead of the new season next month.

As part of the continued improvement of the club both on and off the field, the Brewery Field clubhouse is undergoing a significant transformation.

Firstly, and perhaps the biggest change of use in the clubhouse, will see the room formerly known as Sadler’s Bar become home to Bridgend’s very first Street Food Hall! It will feature a series of micro-kitchens, and the hall will be home to a rotating selection of some of the finest street food vendors from Bridgend and beyond.

With the windows of the bar now revealed, the new improved Sports Bar really does have a new lease of (natural) light! It will soon be home to both SKY Sports and BT Sport, meaning it will be THE place to watch live sport in Bridgend. It will have multiple screens and technology allowing a variety of sports to be shown on occasions when sporting fixtures clash. The bar will also be furnished with improved pool and darts facilities and much of the famous Bridgend RFC related memorabilia will be on display in the Sports Bar as a nod to the illustrious history of the club.

For the craft beer lovers, both locally brewed beers and more established favourites will be poured on keg and cask throughout the club, so you will be able to sample some of the finest beers around! However, if a traditional lager or a G&T is more your thing, you’ll still be perfectly at home.

Finally, President’s Bar will still be able to cater for private events for up to 120 people and will continue to be the sponsors lounge on Ravens match days.

The refurbishment of Rafter’s Bar won’t be completed ahead of the new season, but there are also exciting plans for this area of the club, and works will follow next year as part of phase two.

Once works are completed, the new management team aim to see the clubhouse open from lunchtime ‘til late 7 days a week.

Further details about the Brewery Field clubhouse re-opening will be communicated in due course.
