20 Apr Bridgend Ravens to reveal JPR photograph

To coincide with the last Bridgend RFC Former Players Association get together, Bridgend Ravens are delighted to reveal a commemorative photograph of JPR Williams which will hang near the recently named JPR Suite at the Dunraven Brewery Field clubhouse.

The stunning framed photograph was taken by local renowned Portrait and Celebrity Photographer Tom Jackson, who hails from Bridgend himself. Tom, having taken a number of rugby-related photographs for an exhibition titled ‘Welsh Rugby Greats’ at the Pierhead Building way back in November 2013, currently works as a portrait photographer and has recently featured Virgil van Dijk, Vic Reeves, Jeremy Clarkson, Jamie Oliver and Noel Gallagher to name a few.

Tom’s fantastic photos are regularly featured on the front covers of The Times Magazine, while he’s also been responsible for campaign photography for the likes of the Welsh Rugby Union. Tom has kindly donated the photograph to the club in memory of rugby icon and club president JPR Williams, who sadly passed away in January.

The photograph will be displayed in the clubhouse ahead of our match against Merthyr on Saturday.
