17 Mar Team to face Carmarthen Quins at the Brewery

Bridgend Ravens have another Friday Night Lights home game to look forward to this week when Carmarthen Quins visit the Dunraven Brewery Field (7:30pm). 

The Ravens have four consecutive home victories under their belt but welcome a Quins side who have hit improved form themselves recently. The clash pits the sides placed 8th and 9th in the Indigo Premiership against one another with Bridgend currently 6 points ahead of their visitors with two games in hand on the West Walians.

The reverse fixture in January went Bridgend Ravens’ way by 22pts to 14 at Carmarthen Park. Bridgend’s points that day were courtesy of the boot of Luke Price and a neatly worked Edd Howley try. That victory was Bridgend’s first at Carmarthen Park since 2006.

With both sides in great form, Bridgend Ravens make seven changes to the side that picked up a losing bonus point at Cardiff Arms Park. Iwan Griffith misses out with injury, so Stuart Floyd Ellis makes the move to the wing with Rhys Williams taking his place in midfield. Chris Williams returns to the side in place of Connor Tantum.

Owen Jordan and Curtis Hicks are the changes in Bridgend’s front row with Jack Pope also regaining his place in the starting line-up. Iestyn Merriman and Jordan Collier are the changes to Bridgend’s back row.
