25 Jul BRIDGEND RAVENS SIGN KYLE HARRIS

Bridgend Ravens have added another promising youngster to their squad with the signing of forward Kyle Harris for the new season.

Harris, 19, joins the club having represented Aberavon last campaign. The versatile back rower, who is also able to play in the second row, featured for Bridgend at the tail end of last season but makes the move permanent for 2024/25. 

Kyle’s rugby career started at Treorchy RFC, before he was picked up by the Cardiff Rugby Academy. He then moved to the Ospreys Academy where he was selected for international honours, representing Wales u18s. He picked up five caps at age grade level for Wales and now makes the switch to Scott Baldwin’s side ahead of the new Super Rygbi Cymru campaign.

After signing for the Ravens, Kyle said “I’m really looking forward to the new season getting underway. It’s a great opportunity to play in an exciting new league with a great bunch of boys. 

I really enjoyed my brief time with Bridgend at the end of last season and I’m thankful to be given another chance with the club this season. Pre-season has been really enjoyable so far and I can’t wait to get out on the field next month.”
