Bridgend rounded off their pre-season campaign with a tough loss to the Ospreys at the Swansea.com Stadium, taking part in the Region’s inaugural Origin Series concept.

Second up in the triple header format which also saw Ospreys face Aberavon and Swansea, Bridgend were caught cold with former Raven Luke Morgan touching down. Harri Houston, Luke Morgan, Luke Davies and Tristan Davies all added tries in the half hour encounter to prove themselves far too strong for the Ravens. Bridgend’s best chances came from a Maul drive effort and an interception, both thwarted by stout defending from the hosts.

Bridgend now turn their attentions to Newport, opening the new Super Rugbi Cymru competition on the road at the Newport Stadium on Saturday 14th September.
