27 Jun RAVENS CONFIRM DEPARTURES AHEAD OF NEW SEASON

With preparations for 2025/2026 well underway, Bridgend Ravens can confirm departures from the playing and backroom staff ahead of the new season.

Forwards Coach, Bradley Davies, has departed the club to join up with Scarlets as Contact Coach. Davies served as Assistant to both Tom Smith and Scott Baldwin, having joined the club in 2023.

Team Manager, Meredith Griffith retired from his role at the end of last season, drawing the curtain on a momentous nine seasons at the helm with the club.

Kit master, John Jeffs, also joins Griffiths in retiring, having helped the club in various roles throughout his time at Bridgend Ravens.

Tighthead prop Marley Lovell leaves the club after making 9 appearances in his maiden season with the Ravens.

Joe Buckle and Iwan Griffith are both heading for pastures new, making the switch to the Premiership side Pontypridd.

The final departure is scrum half, Callaghan Smith who is opting to take a break from rugby to go travelling.
