10 Jul RAVENS SWOOP FOR OLDING AND EVANS FROM BLACK AND AMBERS

Bridgend Ravens have confirmed the exciting double signing of front row duo Tyler Olding and Nathan Evans from Super Rygbi Cymru champions Newport RFC, as preparations ramp up for the 2025/26 campaign.

The highly-rated forwards bring both power and experience to the Ravens’ pack, having played a significant role in the Black and Ambers championship winning campaign of last season

Hooker Tyler Olding, spent two successful seasons with Newport, made 31 appearances in black and amber and quickly became known for his dynamic play around the park and consistency at the set piece. Tyler made two appearances for Bridgend on permit last season scoring twice and will add to Bridgend’s strong pool of hookers alongside Corey Lewis and Evan Yardley.

Joining him is prop forward Nathan Evans, who has been a mainstay in the Newport front row over recent campaigns. With 47 appearances to his name, Evans brings a wealth of experience, physicality, and a proven track record at Premiership and SRC level.
