The Colin Hillman Bridgend Sevens returned to Dunraven Brewery Field on Sunday afternoon and fans were entertained by a sizzling day of sevens action as Rotorblade Enforcing took home the title. 

Bridgend Ravens were beaten by eventual winners Rotorblades in the cup semi final (17pts to 24), having progressed from Pool A alongside Tondu. The Wheelers beat Bridgend 14pts to 5 in game 1, but Scott Baldwin’s side were able to make it out of the pool by beating Pencoed (45pts to 12) and Cryocube (33pts to 14).

Rotorblades, featuring a host of Bridgend Ravens players, saw off Colin Hillman Samurai Sevens in the final with a comprehensive 42-7 victory.

In the plate, it was Prostate Cymru that beat Sniper 7s with a last minute Corum Nott try securing a 26pts to 19 victory.
