26 Dec Team to face Cardiff at the Electric Brewery Field

Bridgend Ravens welcome Cardiff to the Electric Brewery Field on Saturday afternoon in the second of a pair of festive clashes against the capital side (2:30pm).

The teams last met last Saturday, with Cardiff scoring 42 unanswered points to win 49pts to 12 at the Arms Park after Bridgend had taken an early 12pts to 5 lead.

For Saturday’s match, Scott Baldwin makes a number changes to his lineup as he looks to get his side back into form. Lloyd Wilkins and Chris Williams are the change at half back, with Fraser Jones in from the start for Tom Florence who is unavailable.

There’s a Bridgend Ravens return for back row Iestyn Merriman on permit from Bridgend Athletic. Barnaby Waddell is selected alongside the Ospreys’ Evan Hill and the side is co-captained by Thomas Jevons and Tyler Olding.

Amongst Bridgend’s replacement is a return for Cardiff Rugby prop, Callum Donoghue-Proud – with Harry Olding also available to take his place amongst the substitutes following the expunging of his red card against the same opponents last weekend.
