Bridgend Ravens have strengthened their Super Rygbi Cymru squad with the capture of two new signings from last season’s table toppers, Cardiff RFC. 

Prop Marc Thomas and dynamic back-rower Benji Williams have both signed for the Ravens ahead of the 25/26 season.

Thomas, a former Raven, returns to the club after a seasoned career in professional rugby. He brings a wealth of experience to Bridgend’s front row, with a career spanning spells with the Ospreys, Cardiff Blues and Worcester Warriors. Most recently, Marc has featured for Pontypool and Cardiff, but he now returns to the club where he previously plied his trade between 2012 and 2015.

Williams, a former Wales U20 international, makes the switch to the Brewery Field following a standout season with Cardiff Met and a campaign at Cardiff RFC last season. Named in the 2023–24 BUCS Super Rugby Dream Team as captain, the No. 8 adds pace, physicality, and leadership to Bridgend’s back row. Benji enjoyed a successful season at the Blue & Blacks last season, appearing 13 times, scoring twice.
