TEAM TO FACE SWANSEA AT THE BREWERY

Bridgend Ravens welcome Swansea to the Electric Brewery Field for the second of four consecutive home Super Rygbi Cymru matches on Saturday (2:30pm).

The Ravens have one win from three matches so far, having been comprehensively beaten at Aberavon on MD1, before securing a thumping victory at Pontypool the following weekend. Last weekend was a thriller; the reigning champions, Llandovery edged Bridgend 29pts to 26 despite a late Ravens comeback.

Swansea are yet to play at home with St Helen’s under renovation to welcome the Ospreys back to SA2 as their new permanent home. They’ve lost all three matches to date – against Ebbw Vale, Cardiff and Carmarthen Quins.

It was one win apiece in last season’s matches, with a draw in the other clash. The league match at the Brewery ended 29-29 after Lewis Edwards’ last play try secured a draw for the All Whites.

For Saturday’s match, Scott Baldwin makes a handful of changes to his lineup. Chris Williams is the change at 9, with a fresh front row of Marc Thomas, Dom Manaseitava and Matholwch Iorwerth Scott. Benji Williams moves into the second row with Zac O’Driscoll coming in from the start at 7.
