Bridgend Ravens head to North Wales on Saturday afternoon for the second of a festive double header with RGC (5:15pm).

The sides fought out an entertaining tie last weekend which was edged by the Gogs 34pts to 28 after a dominant first half display. Bridgend came back well in the second half but couldn’t break down the resolve of the visitors as RGC claimed their first win in Bridgend since 2019.

Bridgend won the corresponding fixture at Eirias last year with a late Zac O’Driscoll try securing a first ever win in North Wales for the Ravens by 23pts to 20.

Saturday’s game is televised on S4C but also available via the S4C Chwaraeon YouTube channel or Facebook page for those not making the journey to Stadiwm CSM.

There are a handful of changes to the Bridgend side making the trip to North Wales. Edd Howley is back from injury to take his place in the starting lineup at 15. Tommy Morgan is the other change, replacing Joseph Gatt at 12.

There’s some shuffling of the deck within the forwards as Alfie Llewellyn starts in place of Ioan Pascoe who drops to the bench.

Amongst Bridgend’s replacements is Luke Price, making his own return from injury having not featured for the club since September.
