14 Sep Leyshon Flint & Sons partner with Bridgend Ravens
Bridgend Ravens are pleased to confirm that Leyshon Flint & Sons will sponsor the players and staff leisurewear this season.
Leyshon Flint & Sons are Bridgend’s Renault and Dacia main dealer, based just up the road from the Dunraven Brewery Field at Pen-Y-Fai Service Station. The dealership has been owned and managed by the same local family for over 15 years and previously sponsored the Ravens during the 2010/11 Division 1 West promotion winning season.
Their branding will sit proudly next to the Ravens logo on all the stylish new Macron leisure wear issued to the players, coaches, team management and medical staff. Items will include t-shirts, polo shirts, quarter zips, track bottoms and shorts.
The sponsorship package will also see Leyshon Flint & Sons have pitch-side branding at the Dunraven Brewery Field, advertising in the Match Day Magazine and player sponsorship of fullback Edd Howley.
Bridgend Ravens Commercial Manager, Craig Thomas, commented, “I have worked with the team at Leyshon Flint & Sons for many years in my previous career, so it’s great to get them back on board at the Ravens to continue the relationship. They are a forward thinking, ambitious car dealership, and I believe that this close link up with the Ravens will further strengthen their brand and market position in this area. I would like to place on record my thanks to Daniel Leyshon (General Manager) and Richard Harris (Sales Manager) for their support and commitment in putting this deal together.”
Leyshon Flint & Sons General Manager, Daniel Leyshon, told us, “We have spoken about working with the Ravens again for many years, but just never found the right opportunity at the right time. However, when we were approached with this opportunity, we knew it was one too good to miss! I am delighted that we are involved with such a historic club again, and really looking forward to supporting the team on match days. I hope the year ahead will be very successful for both teams!”
