Bridgend Ravens round off a busy week of Indigo Premiership action with a game at St Helen’s against Swansea on Saturday afternoon (2:30pm).

The fixture is the club’s third this week following a 47pts to 12 win over Llanelli last Saturday and a 36pts to 12 defeat at Newport Stadium on Wednesday evening. Bridgend will face the All Whites next Saturday at the Dunraven Brewery Field in a rearranged fixture, but first is a trip to SA1 this weekend.

Swansea have largely been used as a development side for Ospreys regional talent to get valuable game time this season and their team for Saturday includes former RavensTom Florence, Owen Thomas and Ben Warren. They have four games of the regular season remaining and have four wins from 18 Indigo Premiership matches so far.

The corresponding fixture last season was one to remember, with Edd Howley’s late try securing a 20pts to 13 victory at St Helen’s. Swansea did gain revenge later in the season with a last gasp win over the Ravens at the Dunraven Brewery Field and Saturday’s clash is expected to be another tight one between the two Ospreylian sides.

With three games in a week, Bridgend will again rotate their squad.
