17 Jan Bridgend Ravens set to pay tribute to JPR Williams

Bridgend Ravens are preparing for an emotional occasion as they are set to remember JPR Williams during Saturday’s game at the Dunraven Brewery Field against Pontypridd.

With a number of tributes and celebrations of JPR’s life planned, we’ve listed them below to give you the low down of what to expect.

Tickets for Saturday’s game

Tickets for Saturday’s game are priced at £12 for Adults, £10 Concessions and Under 16s free (with a paying adult).

You are able to pay for your admission to the match by card or cash.

Admission to the Indigo Premiership match is included in Bridgend Ravens Club Membership.

Matchday Programme

Matchday Programmes are available to purchase for £2 at the main entrance from the ticket booth and will feature a tribute to JPR and a memorial front cover.

Planned Tributes

There are a number of tributes planned prior to Saturday’s game. As already announced, Bridgend Ravens are retiring the No15 jersey made iconic by JPR Williams for Saturday’s match.  The jersey will be laid on the pitch prior to the moment of silence.

The Bridgend Ravens Former Player Association are also meeting at the game and will join the players on the field prior to the moment of silence to pay their respects.

A tribute to JPR Williams will be read over the tannoy prior to the moment of silence.

At half time, Bois Goetre-hen Male Choir will perform a brief set to entertain the crowd (https://www.boisgoetrehen.com/)
