18 Jan JPR SUITE UNVEILED BY BRIDGEND RAVENS

Bridgend Ravens are delighted to announce that the Rafters Bar will be renamed the JPR Suite, in honour of JPR Williams. 

Following the sad news of JPR’s passing recently, the Club and Brewery Field Clubhouse will pay a lasting tribute to the Bridgend, Wales and British Lions legend by renaming the Rafters Bar as the JPR Suite.

Bridgend Ravens Club Chairman Norman Spain commented “It was a privilege to have JPR Williams as our President. JPR always made an effort to champion Bridgend, raising the profile of the club whenever he was able to. He wasn’t shy of sharing his views on the modern game and would often be called on to give a pep talk to the team prior to important fixtures, something that he did willingly. 

We are pleased to be able to honour JPR’s lifelong commitment to the club and to Bridgend by renaming the Rafters Bar as the JPR Suite.”
