11 Jun Ravens celebrate 23/24 at End of Season Awards
Bridgend Ravens held their Awards Evening at the JPR Suite at the Dunraven Brewery Field on Friday evening, celebrating the 2023/24 campaign.
Before a sell out room, Edd Howley was the evening’s big winner, picking up the Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year Awards. Young second row, Dylan Burrows was named the club’s Most Improved Player of the Year, and a Special Recognition Award was presented to volunteer Huw Roberts for his efforts this season, in a new award voted for by the volunteers themselves.
The Derrick King Clubman of the Year award was presented to Richard ‘Dicky’ Evans – with John Jeffs accepting the award in his absence.
There were a host of awards handed out for 50, 100, 150 and 200 appearances, along with entertainment from guest speaker Chris Horsman to wrap up the evening.
