30 Aug Bridgend Ravens team to face Ospreys (a)

Bridgend Ravens round up their pre-season campaign this weekend as they travel to the Swansea.com Stadium to face Ospreys as part of the Origin Series.

Having started their pre-season with a fine 55 points to 15 victory against Bournville, Plymouth Albion were the visitors to the Dunraven Brewery Field and it was the home side who ran out impressive 15 points to 7 winners thanks to tries from Harvey Nash, Jordan Collier, and new addition Mccauley Rowley.

There are a number of changes within the backline with Ryan Wilkins and Harvey Nash the only starters from last week’s XV. Ben Burnell switches to full back, and is joined by Rowley and Jake Thomas in the back three. Wilkins and Iwan Griffith form a new centre partnership with Harvey Nash and Luke Price combining at half back.

Up front, Harry Olding, and new additions Curtis Greenslade and Marley Lovell continue in the front row, while Barnaby Waddell and Dylan Burrows combine in the second row. In the back row, it’s a first start for new signing Thomas Jevons at eight, combining in the back row with captain Zac O’Driscoll and Jordan Collier, a try scorer last weekend who switches to blindside flanker.
