29 May BRIDGEND RAVENS AWARDS EVENING 2025
Bridgend Ravens Awards Evening is just over a fortnight and we are excited to unveil full information about the club’s showpiece social event.
The bars at Dunraven Brewery Field will be open from 6pm, with guests asked to take their seat by 7pm in time for a 7:30pm start.
Award winning magician Steve Taylor will provide welcome entertainment, wowing guests with his intimate magic during the opening stages of the evening.
The formal proceedings of the evening commence with an address by Club Chairman, Norman Spain, before guests enjoy pre-awards dinner.
Catering will be provided by The Swan Inn, Aberkenfig in the form of a two-course dinner. The meat options are pork and turkey, served with a range of vegetables, gravy and optional sauces with a Biscoff Toffee cheesecake dessert. Vegetarian options are available upon request and we are able to cater for any specific dietary requirements with advanced notice.
Following dinner, the Awards Ceremony will take place with awards presented by Bridgend Ravens club legend and guest for the evening, Maama Molitika in conjunction with a range of club officials.
The evening will close with a short informal question and answer session with former Wales international, Arwel Thomas and Maama Molitika, hosted by Wayne Barrington, sharing their memories of their rugby careers. There’ll be the opportunity to ask questions on the evening to both guests, but but we are inviting guests to send their questions in advance to [email protected] if they’d like any to be answered.
