The Colin Hillman Bridgend Sevens launches at the Dunraven Brewery Field this Sunday as some of the borough’s best teams go head to head for the honour of being the relaunched competition’s inaugural champions.

Eight sides will face off for the right to be the inaugural Colin Hillman Bridgend Se7ens Champions at the Dunraven Brewery Field in what is set to be a sizzling Sunday of sevens action.

Gates open at 10:15am, with tickets priced at £10 for Adults and under 16s free with a paying adult. Advance tickets are still available at a discounted rate of just £7 and can be purchased by clicking here.

There’s plenty of entertainment on offer, with DJ Jack Olding playing to the crowd throughout the day, a range of food options available and Brewery Field Clubhouse providing a range of drinks offerings to keep spectators hydrated.

For kids, there’s a bouncy castle with slide and a tuck shop and cafe serving a range of cold drinks, snacks, sweets and ice cream – and the opportunity to meet Ronnie the Raven who’ll be flying around throughout the day!

Colin Hillman Se7ens Tournament Information

The on-field action gets underway at 11am with the tournament set to run as follows;

  • Two pools of four teams
  • Each team plays each other once during the Group Phase
  • The top two in each pool advance to the Cup semi finals. Third and fourth progress to the Plate semi finals.
