02 Jul CORUM NOTT JOINS BRIDGEND RAVENS

Bridgend Ravens have bolstered their squad with the signing of dynamic young back Corum Nott from Carmarthen Quins. 

The 22 year-old Wales age grade international featured for the Ravens at the tail end of last season on permit from the Quins, scoring 3 tries in 3 games, and makes the switch permanent ahead of the commencement of Super Rygbi Cymru.

Nott, a versatile pacy back, was identified via the Wales Exiles program at u18 level. He was then signed by Scarlets Academy before joining Cardiff Met for University. His form saw him move to Carmarthen Quins in 2022/23, scoring five tries in seven games. This led to Nott being selected for the Scarlets Development side for their fixtures against English opponents, including Saracens.

Bridgend Ravens Head Coach, Scott Baldwin said “Corum is a fantastic addition to our team. His pace and vision to open up the game are all key attributes which will help us develop our backline game this season. He has shown great promise at Carmarthen, and showed some nice touches during his few games with us last season. We are confident he will continue to develop and excel with us,” 

In his first interview as a Raven, Nott expressed his eagerness to get started with his new team. “I’m really thrilled to have signed for Bridgend and to be given the opportunity to represent such a massive club. 

I’m excited to get stuck in and work hard with a good group of boys.”
